Great Job.
Is it possible to release x64 versions of HO if it isn't too much trouble? |

10:37 @ 09.12.2009 - Andreas
I get an error when I try to start the new version:
"Could not find the main class. Program will exit."
What's wrong? |

20:02 @ 09.12.2009 - aik
Andreas, please check your Java installation. You need at least Java 5 SE (JDK 1.5).

08:20 @ 11.12.2009 - alex
I get this error when i start HO in windows XP:
"Fatal DB error. Exiting HO.
You should restore db folder from backup or delete folder"
there are some .zip folders in the db folder, what should i do with them? |

08:22 @ 11.12.2009 - alex
PS - if i create a new db folder it works but i lose all previous data like training decimals...

¡Really great!

14:31 @ 16.12.2009 - Zglub
| Thanks for the deb packages, but I think it should depend on default-jre instead of sun-java5-jre | sun-java6-jre. It would avoid to have to use equivs when one doesn't want to install the sun jvm. |

22:39 @ 17.12.2009 - aik
Zglub: HO (and other Java programs) doesn't work with just any JRE. Example: the default on Ubuntu is GCJ and this is not compatible with many Java software - HO among them.

12:54 @ 19.12.2009 - qwerty78
why don't run in windows 7?

16:29 @ 19.12.2009 - aik
qwerty78: HO runs fine under Win7. Just keep in mind, that you either need full admin permissions or don't install HO in a folder below "C:\Program files".

13:04 @ 20.12.2009 - Gongo team
Is that version is the same as the Beta version?

12:36 @ 21.12.2009 - aik
Gongo team: there were/are many different beta versions. To be seen in the different release/build numebers. The official release 1.425 is revision 666.

12:10 @ 30.12.2009 - aik
fianda: you need version 1.425 - just click "download" to get it. There are installers for for Windows, Mac, Linux and there platform independed Zip.

jarry: 1.424 won't work any more!
Regarding your error, i added some handling for that, maybe you can try the latest Developer Version (r678)? |

20:35 @ 03.01.2010 - jarry
aik: Very nice. I just run 'ant-compile' and then pased FullScreen.class and FullScreen$1.class into ho.jar

There's a problem with the last training, where decimal points were assigned to players that did not play the last match, but the one before.
How can it be fixed? |

22:30 @ 04.01.2010 - spongee
I think there is little mistake in the traning experience: last season's training types are wrong.

I've got the same problem as 15:01 @ 01.01.2010 - jarry
But I'm afraid I dont know how to properly get the latest developer version. Can you pls give me some hints? |

14:31 @ 12.01.2010 - Luursje
Hi aik, I have the same problem as Andreas: "Could not find the main class. Program will exit."
I do have the latest Java version. Any idea's? |

14:55 @ 12.01.2010 - aik
Luursje: i'm quite sure you have another Java version as default.
Try to find out:
Start -> "Execute..."
cmd [OK] (Black window pops up)
java -version [Enter] |

15:19 @ 12.01.2010 - Luursje
it says 1.3.1.....But when I downloaded the latest version today from Java it says its version 6 udate 17. That's not correct I suppose?

10:48 @ 19.01.2010 - Luursje
Hi aik, any thoughts on this?

16:49 @ 19.01.2010 - aik
Luursje: your Java installation is obviously not 100% correct becase the old version is still active. Do you need Java 1.3 for some reason? :-)
As a quick workaround you can try to open HO using the HO.jar file, but this is not a permanent solution. |

10:40 @ 23.01.2010 - erik
as Luursje I have his same error (windows 7)
I just installed java.
the java -version command outputs me with 1.6.0.18
but i think the '1' is given, as if I go to java.com and run a test, they tell me I have version 6 update 18.
many thanks |

11:19 @ 23.01.2010 - aik
erik: there is no Java problem for you. JDK 1.6.0.18 = Java6 Update 18. Everything is fine here.

hi,
if i uninstall HO, save the .hrf files , then reinstall OS,
install again HO , and import all hrf files, i dont see my players skills - all players have example 12.00 . i Lost 12.67 ? |

16:02 @ 27.02.2010 - aik
rocky:
Keep/reuse the "db" folder, if possible. That way you keep all necessary data.
If you go the hard way importing HRFs, make sure to load also the match data from the recent seasons (download dialog / F11) and dont forget to select "Calculate subskills" after the import. |
